Reading Rage Surf SC is thrilled to announce that Christopher Williams has officially joined the club as Boys Technical Director. With an extensive playing and coaching background, Williams brings a wealth of experience that will further elevate the club’s player development, coaching standards, and overall soccer culture.

A former professional player with an 11-year career, Williams competed at the highest levels both domestically and internationally, playing for clubs across the U.S., Denmark, Hungary, Vietnam, and Thailand. His impact on youth soccer has been just as profound, having guided multiple teams to Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer State Cup Championships and U.S. Youth Soccer Regional Semifinals.

Adding to his impressive resume, Williams was recently inducted into the 2024 Southeast Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame, a testament to his lasting impact on the game as both a player and coach.

Beyond his new role with Reading Rage Surf SC, Williams is also the founder of YTP Sports, the largest youth soccer training company in the Tri-State area. As part of this exciting partnership, YTP Sports will bring its premier training resources, expert coaching network, and innovative player development strategies to the club, further reinforcing Reading Rage Surf SC’s commitment to excellence.

In his role as Boys Technical Director, Williams will work closely with the coaching staff, providing mentorship, training support, and guidance to ensure continued growth and development across all age groups. His leadership will be instrumental in shaping the club’s playing style, improving training methodologies, and fostering a high-performance environment for both players and coaches.

This collaboration will provide players with expanded opportunities, enhanced pathways, and access to elite-level coaching, ensuring continued growth for both the club and the broader Reading soccer community.
